Hello friends! Today I share photographs from a perfectly minimal spring wedding invitation. I always design invitations with the wedding style in mind. This Southern California wedding was romantic and classic with a hint of glamour. To compliment this design style, I kept the monogram simple by intertwining the couple’s initials, letterpress in a nice rich charcoal ink and then blind pressing custom illustrated botanical leaves. Blind letterpress always gives a nice texture without overwhelming the design. I love that the bride also tried something new by using a colored stock. Finally we digital printed the monogram on the envelope flap and addressed the front side. This all got sealed (pun intended) with a pearly wax seal that featured a botanical garden wreath.

As you can tell I love all the little details but the combination of this being effortless is what I always strive for in my designs—even for my branding clients.
